Howell Mountain

Howell Mountain sits perched above Napa Valley on the north end of the Vaca mountain range. Beginning at 1,400 feet, this high-elevation growing region presents what may be considered the most challenging combination of conditions navigated by vintners. Bright, hot days give way to cool nights and, combined with the stone-laden red earth, result in grapes that have great intensity and concentration. Howell Mountain is known as one of the birthplaces of the pioneers of mountain-style cabernets.
