Grown in a vineyard perched on the western benchland of the Rutherford AVA, this Cabernet Sauvignon presents a complex offering full of concentrated fruits and dusty tannins. A bouquet of black raspberries, boysenberry cobbler, freshly cut lilacs, dark red cherries, cedar, wet clay, and spiced cherries leads into a balanced palate full of dense red berries, coca nibs, crushed gravel, and truffle. The mouthfeel is plush and refined, supported by supple tannins that finish with focused purity and length that can only come from the most pedigreed of sites. The gravel and alluvial soils add depth and structure, while the sandy loam delivers elegance and finesse to a fresh and vibrant presentation that are the hallmarks of this vintage.
