With fruit grown in a western-facing amphitheater of Atlas Peak’s rocky landscape, this wine puts the spotlight on the 2022 vintage through the lens of Napa Valley’s Vaca Mountains. Seductive aromas of black cherries, currants, strawberry rhubarb pie, dried red flowers, wild sage, bay, crushed stone, and spiced cedar meld into a full-bodied palate rich in red berries, black currant, exotic spices, and wet stone. Refined tannins show with time in the glass, and subtle layers of garnet-laced acidity frame a lengthy finish that lingers on the palate.
