2023 Vintage
The 2023 vintage was met with tremendous optimism and excitement. Winter saw heavy rains that saturated soils and filled reservoirs, providing ideal conditions for bud break and fruit set. Early spring brought mild, sunny days, and a long, cool growing season was defined by consistent temperatures with minimal heat spikes through Labor Day. The occasional summer shower helped slow ripening and extended hang time, allowing for mature phenolic development of the fruit. Harvest stretched into late autumn, giving winemakers unique control to be patient with pick dates. The vintage will be known for wines with remarkable purity of fruit, sophisticated concentration, and vibrant natural acidity, promising age-worthy wines with elegance, depth, and complexity.
“Each grape tells its own story.
Every vineyard possesses its own terroir.
No vintage of wine is ever the same.”
Winemaker, Grant Long Jr.
