Grown in a vineyard nestled into a rocky, western-facing amphitheater of Atlas Peak, this wine highlights the nature of the Vaca Mountain range’s terroir in its purest form. Expressive aromas of spring strawberries, spiced black cherries, hibiscus, lavender pot de crème, fresh sage, and crushed gravel lead into a succulent palate full of red and black fruits, wet earth, clove, and currants. Soft, plush tannins and keen fruit-driven acidity add complexity and depth, with supple layers of ripe red fruits and savory spices rounding out the long and polished finish.
